During the Zellcheming-Expo 2016, emtec Electronic as the distribution partner of AFG Analytic presents for the first time the new FPA touch! - Fiber Potential Analyzer for the measurement of Zeta Potential of fibers. The device is the logical addition to the CAS touch! - Charge Analyzing System, which was newly introduced last year, for the measurement of particle charge in pulp suspension. The FPA touch! convinces by its compact size and the low weight. Conveniently, both devices can be transported together in one checked luggage or one device in one carry-on luggage. The special advantage lies in the easy and quick start of operation of the measuring device after transport. The handling can also be easily and intuitively done by the integrated touch screen or PC software. Thus, the proven measuring method was enhanced by new features of the AFG touch! series.
At the Edana Nonwoven Symposium INS 2015, a German developer and producer of paper testing technology presented a new method for process optimisation, quality assurance and R&D in nonwoven production and converting.

The company´s so-called TSA (Tissue Softness Analyser) is a well proven device for the tissue industry and might now conquer the nonwoven business as well. TSA was introduced and invented by Dipl.-Phys. Giselher Gruener in 2006 as a completely new measuring method which simulates human touch to a great extent during testing of a sample by hand.
emtec Electronic at RosUpack 2015 in Moscow
The company emtec Electronic GmbH will attend the Russian „RosUpack 2015“ in Moscow. From June 16th until 19th, the company will be present at the exhibition at booth no. B231 in hall 1.2 together with Sigma Micron – their representative in Russia.
The technical equipment, which will be presented in Moscow, are the emtec EST12 Surface & Sizing Tester for characterizing the process-relevant surface parameters of paper and board to predict the behavior during coating, printing and glueing. Its application leads to the optimization of the production and converting processes to gain the best possible quality at the lowest possible costs.
Additionally, emtec Electronic will present some measuring devices for the wet end area: the CAS Charge Analyzing System for determining the particle charge and the FPA Fiber Potential Analyzer for measuring the Zeta Potential of fibers in the suspension. In addition to the FPA, emtec Electronic developed a new Online measuring device FPO Fiber Zeta Potential Analyzer Online, which measures the Zeta Potential of fibers directly during the production process and delivers immediately reliable and necessary information concerning the dosing of chemicals to the pulp.
